Ways to Control High Blood Pressure

    High blood pressure is a serious condition that can lead to coronary heart disease, heart failure, stroke, kidney failure, and other health problems. Blood pressure often increases as weight increases. the blood pressure depends on the resistance offered by the arteries to the flow of blood. Regular physical activity at least 30 to 60 minutes most days of the week can lower your blood pressure. Eating a diet that is rich in whole grains, fruits, vegetables and low-fat dairy products and skimps on saturated fat and cholesterol can lower your blood pressure. Use herbs or spices, rather than salt, to add more flavor to your foods.
